Saturday 21st March 2026
9am - 3pm | $TBA
What if children could see God’s big plan for salvation unfolding right through the Old Testament?
What if they could see Jesus was always the King we have been waiting for?
And what if we could grow in confidence to teach kids the Old Testament—including Narrative, Wisdom, and Prophecy?
At PCMC 2026 on 21st March, returning speaker Fiona Millar will help us explore how to teach children the Old Testament with clarity and creativity. Together, we’ll consider how best to nurture in kids a deep awe of God and a clear vision of Jesus throughout all of Scripture.
With a focus on practical tools you can take straight into your next teaching opportunity, PCMC will encourage and equip you for the important work of teaching God’s Word to children.
Electives
2026 also includes electives from experienced workers in children's ministry.

Meet Our Speaker
Fiona Millar
Born to missionary parents in the High Andes of Peru, Fiona has known and experienced the love of Jesus from childhood. Her lifelong passion is helping children set their hearts on eternity as they engage with God’s Word and encounter Christ for themselves.
Fiona serves widely in children’s ministry: she teaches the Children’s Ministry Certificate at Queensland Theological College, equips and trains Christian Religious Instruction teachers in Queensland State Schools, mentors a group of primary school girls in her local church, and partners with churches to strengthen their children’s ministry strategy and practice.
One of her greatest joys is developing creative, biblically rich material that helps children discover theirplace in God’s Big Story—especially across the varied genres of the Old Testament.
Perth Children's Ministry Convention is a one-day convention for anyone involved in teaching the Bible to children.
Additionally presented by PCMC:
An evening for Pastors and Children Ministry Coordinators
