This year’s convention unpacks how to teach the character of God to children and connect with your community, with a practical session focused on running playgroups, holiday programs and after school clubs to reach children and families outside of churches with the good news of Jesus.
Perth Children's Ministry Convention is a one-day convention for anyone involved in teaching the Bible to children.
Our Speaker
Bruce Linton has been in paid youth and children’s ministry since 1984 and feels like he is just starting to get the hang of it! Over the past decade it has been an increasing pleasure for Bruce to be involved in training leaders and is spurred on by the writer of Psalm 78 when he encouraged us with phrases like, “we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord”- he is keener than ever to get on with that great task. Bruce lives with his wife Jan, and they delight in their 4 children and 4 grandchildren (at last count).

The Friday night before our Convention is an evening for coordinators to network and develop specific skills for overseeing children's ministry. PCMC 2024 has a special focus on how to reach out into the communities our churches and schools are situated in.
